Applications and Uses: The module is suitable for both ceiling and wall mounting. It has the same features as the MPH-9, with the difference that the extinguishing angle is freely adjustable, allowing it to extinguish fires in any direction. The module offers high performance and extinguishing power, as well as a wide range of applications.
TUNGUS fire extinguishing modules are used for automatic fire suppression in Class A (solid), B (liquid), and C (gaseous) fires.
The MPH modules can be used in a wide variety of applications and for diverse requirements.
The extinguishing powder is harmless to people, animals, electronics, and the environment. It is easily removable and disposable.
Functional principle
The TUNGUS module is activated by an electrical pulse, which can be triggered electronically or manually by a TUNGUS thermal sensor or a TUNGUS manual sensor. Alternatively, the TUNGUS module can also be activated by any other power source that provides the pulse current.
Upon receiving the pulse, the generated cold gas expands rapidly using the gas generator integrated into the module, creating the necessary pressure inside the pressure vessel (the TUNGUS module). The internal pressure then carefully ruptures the membranes at the module’s opening, using a built-in cutting mechanism, thus ensuring the rapid discharge of the extinguishing powder.
