Applications and Uses: The TUNGUS SA1 module comes pre-assembled as a complete unit on a bracket and is ready for immediate use almost anywhere. Simply unpack, mount, pull the cotter pin – and the fire protection is active for up to 12 years. The module is versatile and can be used in a variety of settings. These modules are particularly popular in rental properties and on construction sites because they can be easily relocated at any time.
TUNGUS fire extinguishing modules are used for automatic fire suppression in Class A (solid), B (liquid), and C (gaseous) fires.
The extinguishing powder is harmless to people, animals, electronics, and the environment. It is easily removable and disposable.
Functional principle
The TUNGUS module is activated by an electrical pulse, which can be triggered electronically or manually by a TUNGUS thermal sensor or a TUNGUS manual sensor. Alternatively, the TUNGUS module can also be activated by any other power source that provides the pulse current.
Upon receiving the pulse, the generated cold gas expands rapidly using the gas generator integrated into the module, creating the necessary pressure inside the pressure vessel (the TUNGUS module). The internal pressure then carefully ruptures the membranes at the module’s opening, using a built-in cutting mechanism, thus ensuring the rapid discharge of the extinguishing powder.
